Welcome to the wonderful world of blogging! This semester, you will be creating a blog to organize your thoughts, to share your opinions, and to practice incorporating your assignments in a public forum on the Internet. You will use this blog not only for our novel class, but also for our economics class. You can also use it to share anything not related to your Poly work by creating a "personal" page where you can share interesting stories, photos, videos, or anything else you would like others in the class (including your teacher) to know about.
This semester in Novel Class, we will be reading highly-renowned novels:
Jacob Have I Loved and
The Outsiders.
Both of these novels involve complex characters, ideas, emotions, and themes. You will use your blog to explore these facets of the novels and share your ideas with the class.
